CRAWL Control works like cruise control, but at a much lower speed, to minimise wheel lock and spin and increase the ease of the drive, stability and safety. Whether tackling mud or rock, this system automatically manages both the engine and brakes, maintaining the vehicle at a constant, low steady speed that allows the driver to concentrate on steering the vehicle, especially when negotiating out of tight spots. With a ground clearance of 245 mm, the highest in the Land Cruiser family, no matter how rough the road ahead, the FJ can tackle it.
